I'm JC. I spent twenty years in tech, and it was a good run. Now I'm in my mid-40s in Los Angeles, doing something different: running groups, going back to school, reading deliberately, taking care of family, and trying to write about all of it. I'm not sure where it's going. That might be the point.

I've also run 9 or 10 marathons. I hold a basketball record at my tiny college that probably still stands: the most personal fouls in a season. And I started a men's group where we meditate and eat ice cream.

Spring semester midterms coming up in symbolic logic and calculus. The men's group is at 26 sessions and running biweekly at the Wende Museum. Reading Pico Iyer before a family trip to Tokyo. The kids are growing up faster than I expected.
